What is AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and do I need it?
AEO is the work of structuring your site so AI engines like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity recommend your business when someone asks them a question. If your competitors are showing up in those answers and you are not, the search-volume gap will widen every month. We rewrite content into clean answer paragraphs, add the schema markup these engines look for, and verify recommendations in the wild.
Do you only work with businesses in Richmond?
We're strongest where we already have the local citation and review infrastructure: Richmond Metro and Hampton Roads. We work with businesses across 16+ Virginia cities. Can you take over a website someone else built?
Usually yes. We audit what's there, scope what needs fixing, and quote it. We won't take over a site if the underlying platform makes the work pointless. In that case we'll tell you and recommend rebuilding instead.
What's the typical timeline from kickoff to launch?
Four to six weeks for most custom builds. The faster path runs when you have brand assets ready and you respond to drafts within two days. The slower path runs when copy needs to be written from scratch or stakeholders need to align.
Do you do paid ads?
Not at this time. We focus on organic and local search where the moat compounds. If you need paid Google Ads or Meta Ads, we can recommend two operators in Richmond we trust.
